Our brief was to freshen up a tired, underutilised corridor space outside the Cardiac Cath Lab. Staff explained that not many patients or their families understood what a Cath Lab is, and when admitted to the unit it can be a confusing and worrying time.

Our task was to fill a wall space of 18 metres in length with a design that was both visually appealing and provided some simple key messages about what treatment at this Cath Lab may involve.
